  • The Kenya Commercial Bank Football Club was formed in 1994 under the Umbrella of KCB Sports Club.  KCB Football Club is the last baby of the KCB Sports Club Teams.
  • The Team was registered and started participating in the Nairobi Division Two League in 1994 and progressed as follows:-
  • 1994 The Team Finished in the 2nd Position in the Nairobi Province Division Two League and earned Promotion to Division One
  • 1995 The Team Finished in the 1st Position in the Nairobi Province Division 
  • One league and earned Promotion to Nairobi Super Two League
  • 1996 The Team won the Nairobi Super Two league and earned Promotion
  • to the National Super League
  • 1997 The Team finished in the Fifth position and didn’t qualify for the Premier League.  In the same the year the Team reached the Moi Golden Cup Tournament Semi Finals and lost to Eldoret KCC Football Club, who were the eventual winners of the Cup
  • 1998 The Team won the National Super League and was promoted to the National Premier League
  • 1999 Team finished 15th in the 20 Team National Premier League 
  • 2000 Team finished in the 4th position in the National Premier League Zone B out of 12 Teams
  • 2001 The Team finished 14th position in the 20 Team League. In the same the year the Team reached the Moi Golden Cup Tournament Semi Finals and lost to Mathare United Football Club, who were the eventual Runners up in the Cup
  • 2002 The Team finished 14th position in the 20 Team League
  • 2003 The Team finished 9th position in the 12th Teams League
  • 2004 The Team won the Transparency Cup Tournament
  • 2004/2005 The Team finished in the 5th position in Zone A out of 12 Teams League
  • 2005/2006 The Team finished 1n the 14th position out of 20 Teams League
  • 2006/2007  The Team finished in the 14th position out of 16 Teams League
 

LEAGUE STANDING

The team is currently in 3rd place in the league.

 

INTERESTING INFO

The team won the transparency cup – 2004  against Thika United
The team was a warded with a  Cup and a cash ward of  Kshs1 Million
The Club has produced several players for the National Team, Harambee Stars, for example, Japhet Waweru “jojo” currently, and previously Eric Omondi, Jaffrey Oyando, Vincent Otieno and James Mulinge.  Eric Omondi
